Me??? Hmmm, what can I say about….Me??
I am a retired music educator……30 years of teaching music…mainly instrumental….in three different school districts within in Missouri(often called Misery). It was an incredible 30 year journey and more of these 30 years and my experiences will surface as I write more on this blog.
I have been writing a blog on blogspot.com for almost 6 years now and I am going to attempt to transfer all of those many posts….over 6000 of them…..to this blog!(??) I am not certain as to how to do this, but…..give me time, ok?? Many of those posts are pictures and you might enjoy them.
I am totally involved in seeing the world….having been in 45 countries as of this point in time. And……it is a way of Life for me and my family, which you will get to know on here. OK….enough for now. Glad to finally catch up with you, Mr. Howser! It’s good to know you’re enjoying life so much. I’m about to sign up for student teaching, and hope to be placed somewhere (within driving distance of good ol’ FredMo) that doesn’t already have their next music teacher “lined up” and therefore might hire me for elementary music if I do well in student teaching. Do you know of any districts that already have the position promised to someone, or that try to keep it within the family, or that don’t have elementary music programs? (Just so I know where not to apply.) I realize you can’t answer this on a public site, but could you email me sometime before 5 PM January 27? I hope it’s not uncouth for me to ask these things publicly, and if it is I apologize and will not be offended in the least if you delete this post. This was just the only way I could find to contact you.
